EasyRinger’s caller ID service's features put you firmly in control of your communications. Creating a professional local presence has never been easier or more effective.
EasyRinger allows you to set your custom caller ID to any of the numbers you own. It's common for businesses to have customers in multiple countries. Get a number for all the countries you need to call, and always show up as local. If different departments in your company need to contact customers, no problem. Just set up dedicated numbers for each department.
Giving customers a local appearance, regardless of location, can help build trust and familiarity. EasyRinger offers a wide range of numbers from over 20 countries spanning North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. If we don’t have the country you need at the moment, you’ll be able to find one close. Contact us if the country that you need is not on our list!
We only work with trustworthy and reliable virtual phone numbers. Guaranteeing our customers a consistent experience that works every time is paramount. That’s why we extensively seek out the most reputable local supplier of virtual phone numbers. You can rest assured that our service won’t let you down.
EasyRinger's easy-to-use interface makes it simple to set your caller ID. Choose "The calling number" or any of your EasyRinger numbers as your caller ID. You can set caller ID for both inbound and outbound calls as well. If you have multiple business operations, you'll easily be able to tailor how you identify the call.
A local number instills confidence in your customer through a sense of familiarity. They are much more likely to answer a call if they feel more comfortable. When a customer sees a caller ID from an unfamiliar country, it raises red flags.
Choosing a professional-looking business phone number for your caller ID shows you are serious. You don’t want to have a random number pop up on your customers' phones that looks like you are calling from overseas.
You have multiple EasyRinger numbers set up for different purposes. All incoming calls can be received on the same device. Our intuitive interface clearly displays which of your numbers has been called so you know how to answer the phone.
EasyRinger's Virtual voicemail service provides you with unparalleled flexibility and control. It is supported on all numbers you use for calls. You can upload an MP3 of your personalized voicemail greeting, or you can type text and have our advanced AI read it for you. Our AI can read texts in multiple languages, with regional pronunciation available for some languages. This ensures correct pronunciation and inflection.
Voicemail is enabled by default, but you can choose to disable it for countries where it is less popular. The “Timeout” feature allows you to customize how long the call rings before going to voicemail.
Call forwarding allows people to call a local number and reach you on your phone in over two hundred countries and territories. You just pay a low per-minute rate; they simply pay the cost of a local call.
Just as people are more likely to answer a call from a local number, they are also more likely to call a local number. The familiarity and security they feel means you will get a lot more callbacks and more people reaching out to you.
SIP phone service, utilizing SIP (Session Initiation Protocol), is the foundational technology in conjunction with VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) that empowers you to make outbound calls and receive inbound calls anywhere an Internet connection is available. We use best-in-class SIP call features to ensure your service is always fast and reliable. Our SIP seamlessly integrates across devices and doesn’t limit the amount of numbers you can use.
Interactive Voice Response (IVRs) are menu systems that let your callers be directed to the right place to solve problems. They select options on the keypad so they are directed to the right person or department upon hearing familiar prompts such as “Press 1 to speak to tech support”.
Our simple user interface allows you to create your own IVR system with up to ten options to ensure your customers reach the right person as efficiently as possible.
EasyRinger allows you to block or only allow certain numbers to call you easily. This gives you full control over your incoming calls and helps to cut out time-wasting spam calls. You can block individual numbers or enter partial numbers. So you could block certain country codes or area codes. Only allowing certain numbers is more restrictive, as all other numbers you don’t specify will be blocked. This can be useful if you use one of your numbers for a very specific reason, perhaps for elite clients or family members.
Caller ID is a service used to transmit the phone number of the person making a call to the person receiving the call. Sometimes a company’s name will show the phone number too. This helps the person receiving the phone call to know who is calling before they answer.
The primary purpose of using a local caller ID service is so that you can choose a number that is familiar to the person you are calling. This helps build trust with the individual receiving the call as they will feel more comfortable answering from a number they are familiar with.
The EasyRinger setup is straightforward and can be completed through your dashboard or by contacting support. Once your account is created, you choose which professional number you want people to see when you call them. You can then add additional numbers for different countries and different purposes.
Our easy-to-use interface allows you to customize how the numbers work in terms of voicemail, interactive voice response (IVR) menus, and blocked/allowed numbers. The service integrates seamlessly with other EasyRinger features, such as SMS and MMS messaging.
Yes. Caller ID solutions are legal to use in the US. It is a widely used service by businesses worldwide that want a local presence in their areas.
It is illegal to use an outgoing caller ID service with the intent to cause harm, defraud, or misrepresent yourself under the Truth in Caller ID Act of 2009. We do not offer a caller ID spoofing service. So, as long as you are a legitimate business that's not pretending to be someone else or mislead your customers, it is absolutely fine.
As standard, your name will not be displayed to a recipient when you make an outbound call to them with a caller ID service. You still have several ways to customize your number. Firstly, you choose the country from which your number is based, and then you get to choose a professional number from the options within that country.
You need to use a Caller Name Delivery (CNAM) service to have your name appear when you call someone. This US-based technology is not yet offered through EasyRinger’s caller ID service.
Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is a technology that allows you to send and receive phone calls through the Internet instead of traditional phone lines. You can still call a phone that is using a traditional phone line. The VoIP will convert the analog voice signal into digital data.
Unlike a traditional phone line, EasyRinger allows for much more customization, particularly over your caller ID. VoIP Caller ID allows you to operate multiple numbers in several countries, always maintaining a local presence. It also offers much more integration with online databases and customer relationship management (CRM) systems. This allows you to keep much better records and provide better customer service.
